The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) is the statutory body responsible
for the promotion and marketing of Sri Lanka tourism in the global context. The institution was established in 2008 after enactment of the Tourism act no. 38 of 2005 under the portfolio of the Ministry responsible for Tourism. SLTPB carries out marketing campaigns targeting both trade and consumer segments to support reaching the government’s tourism arrival and revenue targets.
